Albios, building upon the experience
of the Association of The Tree of the Life and
using the studies of the Research Institute EUREKA,
promotes the homœodynamic method of cultivation,
used by numerous organisations in Italy and abroad.
Homœodynamic
agriculture is the child of biodynamics which continues to be our foundation.

|
|
The foundation of biodynamic
agriculture was given by Rudolf
Steiner
in a cycle of eight lectures, held to Koberwitz in 1924. In the
course of these lectures the three fundamental principles
of this method were established:
- the plant is an image of the formative forces
in the cosmos;
- to manure means to bring life to the land;
- the agricultural holding must be conceived
and worked upon as a self-contained living
organism.
The first principle
emphasizes that the entire life cycle of the plant is connected with the
rhythmical movements of planets and with the world of fixed stars,
from whence come the forces that regulate the life processes of the
same plants.
According to the second principle we
must consider that manure it is not just a source
of physical plant foods; the
land is not a mere inert support for their roots. It reminds
us that the Earth possesses its own life which
must be supported so that plants, by their own growth,
do not exhaust it.
The third principle
points out that an agricultural holding must aspire towards the
goal of being a dynamic self-sufficient being. The holding,
therefore, will be constituted from various activities and zones (orchards,
sowable land, garden, officinal herbs, hedges, forest, composting zones, ponds
and barns) considered to be the various organs that support an organism.
Healthy dialogue between the various organs is not only held within the life
of the farm-organism but also in the "ability to converse” with the cosmos.

|
The fundamental effort undertaken by EUREKA has
been to render the biodynamic method of cultivation able
to address numerous modern problems,
which are so much more acute than those at the start of the 20th century. Primarily
and above all there is the deterioration of the environment
as exemplified by pollution and the changed atmospheric
conditions.
This new method of agriculture has resolved to
fuse the principles of biodynamics with those of
homœopathy,
which Rudolf Steiner defined as “modern alchemy”. In harmony with the homœopathic
vision, we
think that it is possible to bring the needed forces
to the plants and land as through the 'memory' of water.

If the principles of homœodynamic
agriculture are the same as for biodynamics, the tools of
homœodynamic agriculture are:
- the agricultural star calendar;
- activities undertaken during the twelve Holy
Nights;
- seed baths;
- preparations to insert under the roots
of perennial plants;
- several
preparations which stimulate plants to adapt and acclimatise to the
changed environment, particularly resistance
to electromagnetic fields and the problems
connected with GMOs;
EUREKA also
offers plans and advice for agricultural
holdings, and instruction for agriculturists and
technicians.

For many years the
Association of the Tree of the Life has put this
precious instrument in the hands
of its associates. It
is the fundamental reference for
determining the best time to sow
seeds, make transplants, harvest, work the
land and, of course, when to make and apply the homœodynamic
preparations.

|
|
From the 24th December to 5th January, the
most important period
of the year, spiritual forces
come closest to the Earth which, in the course of the coming year, will allow
the plants to grow, develop themselves and to produce in abundance. In order
to facilitate the dialogue between the heavens and Earth specific preparations
are used to enable the entry of these living forces.

|
True freedom
allows even the agriculturist who has taken to heart the
agricultural calendar and the foundations which inspire it, to exceed the normal
limitations, even when, for several reasons, it is not possible to make use
of the ideal indicated conditions.
Through the seed bath capacities come to
the seed that it would otherwise receive from the world
planetary-zodiac if sowing
were carried out at the ideal moment as indicated by
the Calendar.
The seed bath is able to increase
the germinationrate of the seed and encourage
the possibility of
more sturdy plants,
which are capable of greater
and higher quality yields .

| Preparation for perennial
plants |
|
|
For
perennial plants, because of the remarkable duration of
their life, as well as the seed bath one can place a bottle containing
the homœodynamic products, under the plant
in the heart of the root structure, bringing the subtle forces to the
plant assuring all it needs in order
to grow healthy, sturdy, and productive throughout its life.

|
|
|
Numerous
other homœodynamicproducts are available in order to help the
farmer, gardener or simply the casual grower in their endeavours. Currently available
are:
- bio-stimulants for vital functions of the
plant;
- products to enhance composting;
- products which stimulate the formation
of micro- and macro-elements in the land;
- products to stimulate purification
of soils from pollution;
- products to stimulate adaptation and acclimatisation
to environmental stresses;
- products to counteract pests;
and many many others ......
Products for agricultural use are available
only to the members of the Association of Tree of the
